Eurex Admits First Local Investment Broker from Croatia
InterCapital Securities will start trading by the middle of March 2009
The leading international derivatives exchange Eurex announced today that it admitted the first participant from Croatia. InterCapital Securities, one of the leading financial services firms in Croatia, will start trading as a Eurex member by the middle of March 2009. The company benefits from the advantages of Eurex’s Global Connectivity Program, which offers specific incentives to new Eurex members.
“We are very pleased to welcome the first local broker from Croatia”, said Michael Peters, member of the Eurex Executive board. “Through the connection to our global network, InterCapital Securities and its institutional customers now have direct and reliable access to our well-diversified product suite and our international trading network.”
“Access to the highly liquid and global Eurex platform opens up new investment and diversification opportunities for our customers. We are very pleased to be the first investment firm in Croatia who can offer access to Europe’s largest derivatives exchange”, said Daniel Nevidal, Managing Director of InterCapital Securities.
Eurex currently serves more than 400 members in 24 countries.
