EMSL’s San Diego Laboratory adds TEM Microscope for Local Asbestos Professionals
The San Diego environmental testing facility expands analytical services for clients.
EMSL Analytical, a leading provider of advanced environmental laboratory services, has recently announced their San Diego laboratory has received a transmission electron microscope (TEM). The exciting news has been spreading quickly with San Diego area asbestos and environmental professionals who previously had limited local TEM choices for their analysis.
The state-of-the-art TEM microscope operate on the same basic principles as light microscopes, but utilize electrons instead of a traditional light source. By using electrons with their much lower wavelength it is possible to view resolutions a thousand times better than with traditional light microscopes.
