Hotel Indigo Makes Travel to Florida a Day at the Beach

Hotel Indigo is basking in the Florida sunshine as it expands its footprint across the state with the opening of four new locations in less than three months. Increasing the number of hotels from two to six, the boutique brand is making travel to Florida a breeze for business and leisure travelers that demand value without sacrificing service or style.

The seven-story, 67-room property is the first new construction hotel for Ft. Myers’ Historic River District in 20 years. The hotel will provide guests a casually-sophisticated ambiance with a rooftop pool and lounge with picturesque city views.

Hotel Indigo Jacksonville Deerwood Park opened in late January in Tapestry Park, Jacksonville’s newest mixed-use development. Set amid the backdrop of a charming European-style village, the 96-room new-build property is within walking distance of upscale retail shops and gourmet eateries. The inviting lobby showcases beautiful art glass and lighting from Murano, Italy, and a curved wall creatively displays the story of Jacksonville through historic and modern art.

Hotel Indigo Miami Beach is a 135-room hotel conversion in the heart of the vivacious South Beach neighborhood, just two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. The “modern cabana” design embraces the vibrant color palette of South Beach with citrus green, art deco turquoise and hints of magenta. Guests can enjoy a centrally located pool garden with dining terraces and private cabanas.

Hotel Indigo Miami Lakes, formerly the Don Shula’s Golf Club, is a 86-room property located adjacent to the championship 18-hole Senator Golf Course and original Don Shula Steakhouse. Hotel Indigo St. Petersburg Downtown North is a conversion of the historic Heritage Hotel. Built during the 1920’s, the 76-room boutique hotel has a Mediterranean feel with early American influences. The property is centrally located in downtown St. Petersburg just two blocks away from Tampa Bay’s marinas and parks.
