Change in management at Swiss European Air Lines

Peter Koch, Managing Director of Swiss European Air Lines, is to become CEO of Swiss PrivateAviation. He will be succeeded at Swiss European by Andreas Thurnheer.

After several years of success as its Managing Director, Peter Koch has decided to leave Swiss European Air Lines to take on a new career challenge. Koch, who is 42, will become CEO of SWISS subsidiary Swiss PrivateAviation on 1 March, succeeding Jakob Seitz. Peter Koch was closely involved in setting up Swiss PrivateAviation within SWISS between 2007 and 2008.

Andreas Thurnheer succeeds Peter Koch as Managing Director of Swiss European. Thurnheer, who is 54, can draw on some 18 years of experience within the aviation sector, as a pilot and in various management functions at SWISS.
