Spring Vendor Fair and Fundraiser for Breast Cancer, Maple Grove Community Center, Maple Grove MN, March 21, 2009, Free Admission, Sat. 10am - 4pm


Anoka, MN, (WebWire) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Minnesota Moms in Business hosts a Vendor Fair and Gift Sale at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Rd in Maple Grove, MN. This show will take place on Saturday March 21, 2009 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free to the public.

This event will offer a wide variety of products including jewelry, spa, gourmet food, aromatherapy, wellness, home décor as well as handmade craft items.

In addition to presenting local women owned businesses, the event will feature a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness with the theme, Passionately Pink for the Cure. Every donation of $5.00 or more to Susan G. Komen for the Cure will include a $5.00 coupon toward any purchase at the vendor fair.

Sponsoring the event is Chanticlear Pizza of Elk River MN, Kalla Lily Salon and Spa of Maple Grove MN, One Girl’s Closet (online resources for working women) and MaryJo Brinkman-Schill of Premier Designs Jewelry.

Hourly entertainment will be featured at the event by jazz vocalist Lynn Ross. Lynn is a traditional Jazz Vocalist originally from New Brunswick, Canada, who has lived and performed in Toronto, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Florida, Dallas and now Minnesota.

Contemporary classics are a favorite. Lynn says, ”While jazz music is my absolute favorite, I like all music so long as it’s done well. I enjoy the singing experience and sounds of various genres of music. Some of the vocal disciplines required for contemporary music are different from that which I use for Jazz. That alone makes for a whole lot of fun, and a whole lot of great music!”
