HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 1, 2006 – Intergraph Corporation today announced it received the prestigious 2005 Louisiana State University’s President’s Award for Lifetime Giving at the LSU Foundation’s 46th Annual Membership Meeting at the Shaw Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Intergraph was honored for its long-standing role in the development of the CADGIS Research Laboratory, which supports Louisiana State University (LSU) research efforts in computer-aided design, remote sensing, image processing and geographic information systems. Since the lab’s inception, Intergraph has provided LSU with more than $2 million (U.S.) in geospatial technology and technical support to keep the CADGIS lab among the top facilities of its kind in the United States.
