New BMW 7 Series to Be Unveiled at Monmouth County Dealer
NJ residents will be among the first to experience the all new BMW 7 Series, scheduled to arrive at Circle BMW in Eatontown this March. The fifth generation model that was recently launched in the Middle East offers a host of industry first driver assistance technologies that bring unmatched driver engagement, handling and safety features to the luxury performance segment.
The Sedan brings technology to the forefront of the driving experience by offering driving enhancements like Dynamic Driving Control which for the first time, allows the driver to alter the set up by changing the suspension from one of 5 settings to allow for comfort or a heightened sporty and dynamic experience.
Steering and handling are optimized with the use of Integral Active Steering function controls which gives the driver command of both the front and rear wheels. At low speed, the rear wheels are turned in opposite directions of the front wheels, enhancing the agility of the car and making the turning circle smaller. At higher speeds the Integral Active Steering turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front, increasing the vehicle’s stability, maneuverability and comfort.
Added technology achievements include a Night Vision system that can identify and detect humans in the dark from up to 100 meters away alerting the driver to potential danger and the first ever Head-Up Display, which projects driving information like speed and navigation onto a virtual windscreen. The virtual image appears in front of the car so the driver’s attention stays on the road.
