SAS is the cure for forecasting, budgeting and production at leading Italian deli meats maker

MILAN, ITALY . – Grandi Salumifici Italiani, one of the largest Italian manufacturers of cold cuts, uses software from SAS®, the leader in business analytics, to optimize and speed up the commercial planning process and accurately define accurately budget and sales forecasts.

The project has two major components. SAS Forecast Server speeds up the business planning processes and forecasts based on historic data and events such as promotions. SAS Financial Management defines annual budget and quarterly production strategy.
