Daon Supplies Biometric Technology to Support SAIC in Implementing Biometric Enterprise System

Reston, VA - Daon, a leading provider of biometric identity assurance software, announced that it has successfully provided biometric software and services to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [NYSE:SAI] to help with the ongoing implementation of National Biometric Enterprise Systems using finger, face and iris biometrics.

The system is an integrated identity management infrastructure that collects and verifies fingerprint, iris, and facial biometric information. Daon provides products including their core biometric infrastructure product, DaonEngine, and Finger, Face and Iris Biometric Snap-In interfaces to leading biometric matching algorithms. These components act as the identity hub, brokering between the distributed end-user workstations and the back-end biometric systems.
