Many Springsteen fans are disappointed and angry at the high prices of Broker sites such as Stubhub and Ticketmaster’s own TicketsNow. Below are a few tips for those individuals looking for Springsteen tickets at or close to face value.

1) After the concert is sold out DO NOT go directly to Ebay or Stubhub. This is the time where tickets are the highest and the market is out of control. I know for some it offers piece of mind to secure a ticket immediately, but tickets will be available up until show time on EBAY and Stubhub at much lower prices. Often time’s seats will drop to Face Value or below a week before the show.

2) Wait for more shows to be added. New Jersey fans know that Bruce likes to play multiple shows at the IZOD center or Giants stadium every year. If shows sold out quickly and market prices are high then more shows will be added. Check the dates of the shows. If there is a big gap before or after certain shows this means that they are leaving room open to possibly add another date.

3) Check sites often. Even though the ticket market is dominated by Brokers, believe it or not, there are still some true fans selling tickets on TicketsNow and Ebay. Checking back for newly listed seats may payoff if a fan is selling at face value.

The bottom line is that everyone wants seats at face value from Ticketmaster. However, with so many brokers in the market today sites such as EBAY, Razorgator and TicketsNow often become flooded making them buyers markets. If done the correct way it is possible for the true fans to get deals on tickets on these sites.
