Forum One Networks announces the initial speaker line-up for the intimate Online Community Business Forum, where online community and social media professionals will gather to discuss the intersection of business strategy, social media and the future of online community.

San Francisco, CA – February 3, 2009 - Forum One Networks, a strategy and research group specializing in online communities, announced the initial speaker line-up for the much anticipated Online Community Business Forum, which takes place on March 19-20, 2009 in Sonoma, CA. The Forum focuses specifically on online community business models and tactics, strategies that are working and discussions of what changes are on the horizon.

“We have an amazing initial line-up of speakers who will be presenting on pressing issues and topics in the industry,” says Bill Johnston, Chief Community Officer at Forum One Networks. The initial discussion leaders include; Erica Kuhl of Salesforce.com, Jen Burton of Digg, Thor Muller of Satisfaction, Randy Farmer, Online Community Pioneer, most recently with Yahoo! and Sindy Braun of VMWare. “The list of topics will be finalized in the next two weeks,” says Johnston, “but are likely to include themes around community strategies in an economic downturn, managing online community ecosystems, measuring and improving community performance, embracing and optimizing community and social media, growing engagement within executive teams and a panel discussion looking forward to the next twelve months.”

The Online Community Business Forum provides it’s attendees with a well balanced mix of case studies and experiences from successful community teams and the ability to build connections, through networking and collaborating with other attendees in the break-out sessions. An attendee from last year’s Business Forum shares what he valued most about the event, “The opportunity to meet smart people doing interesting things. I also liked that everyone had experience in communities, so we were able to have a high level discussion without dealing with the basics. Everyone had a lot of knowledge and experience to share.”

Forum One Networks is still actively seeking sponsorship. Please contact Bill Johnston for more information at bjohnston@ForumOne.com.
