Argent’s Countdown to Completion of Apartments at the HUB Manchester

The Hub, situated in the heart of Piccadilly, is now on a countdown to completion; with its 167 apartments in Manchester city centre due to be ready and available for homeowners to move into from February 2009.

Developer Argent is extremely pleased to see the imminent completion of The Hub apartments, Clive Bartlam, Project Director at Argent says: “This is another positive step for the Piccadilly Place development. With The Hub launching in February and only Four Piccadilly Place to complete, it won’t be long before Manchester will see the full effect of the development, which will attract more and more people to its public spaces, shops and café bars.”

For those in the market looking to buy, there are still a number of apartments available. Argent is offering spacious, stylish homes right in the heart of the bustling Piccadilly Place development, as well as a ‘Helpful Hub package, which is designed to make the whole process easier for homebuyers. This includes one of the following options:

• £5,000 cash back on completion of the sale
• 5% deposit paid
• £5,000 furniture pack
• Stamp duty paid in full.

The Hub is also helping out homebuyers with Exchange Bonds®, which replace the cash deposit normally required when buying property off-plan. As an alternative to the cash deposit, the Exchange Bond® allows buyers an all important few months to save for the full, or part of, the deposit between exchange and completion, while enabling them to commit to their dream apartment at The Hub. The remainder of the purchase price then becomes payable at completion.

Just under a third of the 167 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments at The Hub are shared equity properties. Under this scheme owner-occupiers are able to purchase between 75% - 85% of their apartment, with no rent payable on the remaining equity. After a year of living in the apartment, owners then have the option to buy the remaining share or simply carry on as before.

Argent will also be offering some of the fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments in Manchester on a rental basis. Two show apartments will be available to view, featuring the furnishings available with a rental package, so that you can see the quality of the offering first hand.
