Through the deal with WBITD, TMG will continue to have access to output from the industry’s most prolific film studio, including the German-speaking free TV rights to Warner’s 2006 theatrical slate.

Included in the package are some of the most anticipated films of 2006, SUPERMAN RETURNS and POSEIDON, Wolfgang Peterson’s remake of the classical adventure film “The Poseidon Adventure.” Also part of the deal is the film LADY IN THE WATER, the new feature from mystery expert M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense”), as well as the epic THE DEPARTED directed by Martin Scorsese (“The Aviator”). CHRONICLES, David Fincher’s anxiously awaited new thriller, Steven Sonderbergh’s (“Erin Brockovich”) new feature THE GOOD GERMAN starring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett as well as Oscar nominee Clint Eastwood’s (“Million Dollar Baby”) new film FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are headlining the romance THE LAKE HOUSE (aka “Il Mare”) and the most famous children’s classic OH WIE SCHOEN IST PANAMA from author Janosch.

Besides approximately 60 theatrical features, the packages also includes several new half hour and one hour series from the 2005-06 television season, first unveiled at the May Screenings in Los Angeles.
