Reykjavik hosts international internet marketing conference

After an encouraging first year, the Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference & Expo is back for another run – and it’s already attracting some of the biggest names in the field!

Last year, the Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference attracted over 300 industry experts and a crop of world class speakers and workshop managers together. Attendees rated the event very highly in the online evaluation.

The 2009 RIMC event will be held on the 20th March and is set to be even bigger than the last, with big names lined up from organisations including Google, Microsoft, IBM and Nordic eMarketing.

Adam Lasnik, Google Search Evangelist will speak about search engines in a special session.

The Search Engines session also features Microsoft’s Mel Carson, Rand Fiskin, CEO of SEOmoz and Eugene Lomize from Yandex. The session will be moderated by Hjalmar Gislason from Iceland Telecom.

The other six topics up for discussion are Youth Marketing Online, Site Usability and Accessibility, social Marketing and Internet Technology, Online Reputation and PR, Case Studies and Success Stories and an interesting look at Websites Do’s and Don’ts.

Shari Thurow from Omni Marketing and Receptional’s Dixon Jones will also offer a stimulating workshop session along with Anne Kennedy, a Managing Partner at Beyond Ink.

The Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and Expo is a joint partnership between and Nordic eMarketing.
