Glasgow’s Celtic Connections is Scotland’s premier annual winter music festival of contemporary and traditional Celtic music and takes place between the 15th – 31st January 2009.

Returning for a 16th year Celtic Connections features artists from around the globe alongside the very best Scottish talent. Taking place over 18 days, Celtic Connections is a major event in the folk and world music calendar.

Other highlights to expect include the nightly Celtic Connections Festival Club (for season ticket holders) and the free Open Stage Sessions at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall Exhibition Hall.
