Odds on Next Year’s Super Bowl XLIV

Las Vegas, Nevada (January 22, 2009) – Super Bowl XLIII is more than a week away, and already the odds on next year’s Super Bowl XLIV are available. RJ Bell of Pregame.com has surveyed the current odds from the major outlets, and by averaging these offerings has arrived at the most accurate representation of the betting market possible.

The Super Bowl XLIV favorites are:

New England Patriots 7-1
Pittsburgh Steelers 8-1
Dallas Cowboys 9-1
Indy Colts 11-1
New York Giants 12-1

Surprisingly, the Arizona Cardinals are 25-1, with fifteen different teams favored over them. The biggest underdog, as many would guess, is the Detroit Lions at 150-1.
