Carrie Krishnek is a woman on a mission. The single mother of 2 has spent the last 14 years of her life working in a semi-conductor plant as an engineering technician. Said Krishnek, “I worked 12 hour shifts—half of the year on night shift—and it was taking its toll on my parenting. I was rarely home to help my kids with their homework or kiss them goodnight,” she lamented. “After almost 14 years of working from paycheck to paycheck I decided it was time to make a change.”

According to Krishnek, the economy was another big consideration, because she was concerned about job security at the company where she worked. “I knew I had to do something fast as a backup plan in case I would no longer have a job,” she said. “I started to do some research on network marketing and fell in love with it. Sure enough, a few months later, I was laid off from my job. I knew then that I would go full time into the network marketing business,” continued Krishnek.
