Presenter:
Candie Halstead is Coordinator of User Support Services with Instructional and Informational Technology Services at California State University San Marcos. Her responsibilities include overseeing the campus helpdesks, conducting faculty/staff software training and keeping software licensing current. She began mediasiting the campus training when the University did a campus-wide implementation of PeopleSoft. Before Mediasite, employees had to wait for scheduled in-classroom training. Mediasite made the training available immediately – it allowed new employees to go online to find the training materials and be brought up to speed immediately. Candie is married and has two spoiled dogs (pictures available upon request, of course!).
