Network World Names Juniper Networks SSL VPN ’Clear Choice’ Winner

Outperforms 10 Other SSL VPN Offerings in Groundbreaking Test

SUNNYVALE, Calif., January 26, 2006 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that its Secure Access (SA) 6000 SSL VPN has won Network World magazine’s “Clear Choice” award. The award is the result of Juniper Networks SA 6000 outperforming 10 other SSL VPN products in a Network World competitive product review published on December 19, 2005. To become a Network World “Clear Choice” winner in SSL VPN technology, products needed to excel in application interoperability, end-point security support, fine-grained access control, high-availability, manageability, portal control/virtualization and authentication. Rigorous testing was conducted over the course of three months and was done in seven different phases that pushed the limits of SSL VPN features and performance.
