Las Vegas NV - Booth 21744 - The GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 5Ghz Extender extends high definition video and audio long distance with no cables required. Using Amimon’s 5Ghz wireless HDTV technology, the GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 5Ghz Extender is capable of delivering high definition video up to 1080p/30 supporting 5.1 digital audio and analog two-channel L/R audio up to 30-meters
(approximately 100-feet) in distance. This makes it ideally suited for most homes and small venue applications.

The GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 5Ghz Extender sets up easily. It uses small sender and receiver units connected at the source and the display locations by an HDMI cable. The sender connects HD devices such as Blu-ray DVDs, gaming consuls and set-top boxes to an HDTV display with no cables required to deliver video and audio. Uncompressed high definition transmission ensures crisp, vivid resolutions on the receiving end, while HDCP compliance, and HDMI v1.3 forward compatibility ensures it will work with all protected content and HDMI formats.

The GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 5Ghz Extender offers two modes of operation, one called “unicast” and the other called “broadcast.” In unicast mode, there is only one sender and one receiver and the wireless link is fully HDCP compliant. In broadcast mode, multiple receiver units are used, transmitting the same source to many displays at the same time. Broadcast mode is not HDCP-compliant and is intended for digital signage applications.
