Houston Software Sales Position Now Open in Westchase District – ‘Right Person’ Will Find Future at Edible Software, Says Company CEO
HOUSTON, TX – January 5, 2009 – A Houston software sales position with excellent earning potential is open in the Westchase District. Edible Software designs and sells accounting and inventory control software for the wholesale food distribution industry, and the company is interviewing for a new assistant sales manager.
“We’re looking for that one special man or woman who can make this job sing.” says CEO Henri Morris, the CPA who founded the company almost thirty years ago. “Edible Software is growing” he says, “and our aggressive expansion presents an opportunity for the right person to fill this important sales position.”
“Of course, this person has to have previous sales and marketing experience – preferably in the software and computer business. But most importantly,” says Morris, “we’re searching for an enthusiastic man or woman who ‘really gets it’ when it comes to communicating the Edible Software message to prospects.”
And what is the Edible Software message?
“Edible Software is the leading accounting/inventory control software for the wholesale produce, meat, seafood and grocery industries.” says Morris. “The software we design and sell is not like generic software brands such as QuickBooks and Peachtree. Our accounting and inventory-control software is not only industry-specific but also user-friendly. When our prospects see how Edible Software immediately improves their profitability,” Morris says, “they buy.”
Morris says a big benefit for the person who holds this job is the opportunity to opportunity to become a specialist in the wholesale food distribution industry. “A sales and marketing specialist who understands the value of industry-specific accounting software has the potential to become a leader in the software sales field.”
Edible Software is Houston-based, he says – “but that’s where our Houston connection ends. Our prospect reach is nationwide and global.”
The Houston man or woman selected to fill this position “will need to thoroughly learn our software package,” he says, “because he or she must be able to clearly and patiently demonstrate and explain it to others. Many of our prospects do not readily appreciate the benefits of industry-specific software. The right sales person will be able to show our prospects how they can increase their company’s profitability using Edible Software – even in this difficult economy.”
Morris says the person who becomes Edible Software’s new assistant sales manager will assist in:
• Cold-calling and prospecting
• Managing, tracking and identifying prospective clients.
• Designing, developing and implementing marketing initiatives, including trade shows, direct mail and electronic marketing campaigns.
The job is a base-salary plus commission position, says Morris.
“We invite anyone with a cheerful attitude, who is organized, open to new ideas and has a love for selling state-of-the-art enterprise accounting software, to e-mail or fax their resume to us -- or to call and make an appointment either with myself or Charles Butler, our vice president of sales,” says Morris. “We will demonstrate our software to each applicant and give him or her a tour of our new corporate headquarters in the Westchase District. More than anything, we are prepared to show the right person how a sales job with Edible Software could be their next logical step to career success.”
