Ricoh Developer Program Offers Enhanced Membership Benefits

New Resources Provide Unprecedented Level of Developmental Tools and Support

West Caldwell, N.J. — Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the launch of three new membership levels to its existing Ricoh Developer Program™ (RiDP™): DocumentMall™; Ricoh Major Account-Strategic Accounts (MASA); and Education (EDU).
In addition to the Basic, Premier and Premier Plus memberships, RiDP now has six options available for qualifying commercial and in-house developers. The RiDP program – open to independent software vendors, Ricoh Major-Strategic Accounts, and colleges and universities – grants access to the support, tools and services needed to integrate new or existing solutions with Ricoh hardware and software products. In today’s fast-paced business environment, preparing products for market in a cost-effective manner is of the utmost importance.
RiDP added the three new membership levels to help meet this need.
• DocumentMall membership, priced at $1,000 annually, gives software developers the tools to add on-demand document management capabilities to their solutions. DocumentMall is Ricoh’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) document management solution and provides companies with the ability to store, retrieve, manage and share electronic as well as scanned paper documents using the Internet. This membership requires verification of the commercial developers’ skills prior to program acceptance.
• Major Account-Strategic Account (MASA) membership, priced at $2,500 annually, is limited to Ricoh-named Major and Strategic Accounts and is designed to supplement in-house developed solutions with existing Ricoh hardware and software. Members can access Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) along with the technical support, resources and tools that come with the Premier Plus membership. Members can also use Software Development Kits (SDKs) which allow developers to create embedded applications that run on multifunctional products (MFPs) or integrate with GlobalScan document management systems.
• Education (EDU) membership is free to accredited higher education institutions.

With the RiDP program, these organizations have access to the tools necessary to integrate their in-house solutions with Ricoh product offerings, including Ricoh’s Embedded Software Architecture (ESA) technology.
