Dilip Dahanukar Dedicates his Science Fiction book to IIT Bombay on Its Golden Jubilee Function.

IIT Campus,Powai, Mumbai, India, December 28, 2008 – Dilip Dahanukar, graduate from the 1964 batch of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has dedicated his book “Alien Man” published by Raider Publishing, NewYork, to his Alma Mater on its Golden Jubilee Function here today. Dahanukar handed over a copy of the book to the Director of the Institute in presence of a large body of Alumni including 25 from the first batch who graduated 47 years ago in 1962.
The book “Alien Man” is Science Fiction about the possible life of an intelligent being coming alive on your computer. How will this being be born? What form will it take? How it emerge? How will it gain acceptance from the humans? How will it conduct its life? What will be its goals? Will it succeed? And what will be its final destiny? These questions are answered in form of the life stories of 4 such beings in the book.
This is the first time that any alumni of the IITbombay has dedicated the book he has written to his Alma Mater. The gesture has been well appreciated with a call for more Alumni to follow his footsteps.
