QUALCOMM Enters into CDMA Infrastructure Software Products License Agreement with Vanu

SAN DIEGO — January 24, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, and Vanu, Inc., a provider of software radio-based wireless infrastructure solutions, today announced that they have signed a worldwide infrastructure software license agreement. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has licensed Vanu certain QUALCOMM patents to develop, manufacture and sell infrastructure software products using CDMA2000® technology.
