Inquisite’s “Connect the Dots” Marketing Campaign Wins “Sizzle Award”
Hoopla Marketing’s creative promotional design used to introduce Inquisite Employee Performance Management System to Fortune 100 Human Resources executives

The annual Sizzle Awards, now in their twelfth year, were created to “recognize the world’s hottest trade show exhibit promotions.”
In the award-winning program, Inquisite’s sales and marketing teams partnered with Hoopla to develop a strategy for introducing Inquisite’s Employee Performance Management System (EPMS) software to Fortune 100 Human Resources Executives. Inquisite wanted to educate these executives prior to an industry conference, thus ensuring conversations at the conference were as productive as possible. Hoopla designed and delivered an award-winning promotion that successfully bypassed hard-to- reach executive gatekeepers, and created enough interest among the VIP recipients to generate an impressive 72 percent response rate.
The “Connect the Dots” multi-faceted campaign consisted of a mix of marketing vehicles including a custom 3-D direct mail piece, Web site landing page, online product demo, trade show exhibit and most importantly, a VIP mailer featuring a combination lock box housed within a black mailing box.
VIP recipients were asked, “What’s the secret to building a performance-driven company?” and then were encouraged to unlock the hint found at a special Web site landing page. More than two-thirds of those receiving the 3-D mailer opened it, visited the Web site, received a product demonstration and supplied their contact information. “Connect the Dots” successfully educated and attracted the attention of Inquisite’s target audience, even before the conference began.
