Nationally Syndicated Medical Talk Show Taps LA Testing for Important Environmental Testing

LA Testing’s scientists provide bacteria analysis to The Doctors television program.

“The Doctors”, a nationally televised medical talk show from the same people behind the acclaimed Dr. Phil show, recently asked the scientists at LA Testing’s laboratory to conduct research for an important episode segment. The recently aired episode focused the show’s attention on surface bacteria that might be found in such common areas as the interior of a typical automobile.

The episode segment highlighted attention on bacterial colonies that could be found on an average car’s dashboard. The results, according to the show’s findings, demonstrated that it is possible and even probable for bacteria to be found on common vehicle surfaces – including bacteria strains that could cause human illness.

Standard surface microbiological procedures were utilized to collect the samples which were then submitted to scientists at LA Testing, the LA County Division of EMSL Analytical, Inc. to determine whether or not bacterial organisms were present in any of the samples.
