GasTerra and Atos Origin sign 3-year contract extension to manage IT infrastructure and virtualization of office environment

Utrecht, GasTerra, an international company trading in natural gas, and Atos Origin, an international IT services provider, have extended their IT management services contract for 3 years. Besides managing the IT infrastructure, Atos Origin will be responsible for managing the intranet, the website and a specific part of the application landscape. Virtualization of the office environment, including both servers and data storage are part of the new contract. This will enable GasTerra to save on electricity costs and create a modern and flexible environment for development and acceptance.

The new contract fits in with both parties’ objectives for sustainable development. Both GasTerra and Atos Origin are aware of their special responsibility with regard to sustainability.
