VoIP Your Life Provides VoIP Service for ARM’s Annual Telethon

For the third consecutive year VoIP Your Life partners with ARM to provide VoIP broadband phone service for ARM’s annual telethon.

Oklahoma City, December 9, 2008 – VoIP Your Life and ARM announced today that the annual telethon to raise money for HIBM (Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathies) was a great success. During the 5 hour telethon which was broadcasted globally from Encino, California, ARM was able to raise over $250,000 for HIBM research.

HIBM is a muscle wasting disorder caused by a genetic defect. It touches those between the ages of 20 and 40, and, although progression is slow, it typically leads to total physical disability within 10 to 15 years.

The donation of service from VoIP Your Life allows ARM to focus it’s resources on a cure rather than the high costs that are typical with traditional telephone companies and avoid the difficulty in establishing service that is only needed for a few hours.
