Manchester United, Sale Sharks and Bradford Bulls Stars Turn Up for PUMA v-Konstrukt III launch at The Kit Team HQ
Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United, Mathew Tait of Sale Sharks and Sam Burgess of Bradford Bulls turned up at The Kit Team’s headquarters to meet the press and reveal the new PUMA v-Konstrukt III boots they’ll be wearing. Thursday the 4th of December was an exciting day for The Kit Team.
The Kit Team will be amongst the first to offer the new v-Konstrukt III football and rugby boots through their website www.TheKitTeam.com. There are two variants of the boot, one designed for football and one specifically targeted at rugby players. The v-Konstrukt III is the latest model in the evolution of PUMA’s highly developed football and rugby boot and is designed to provide protection and transfer power through to the ball.
PUMA’s Aptolast Technology
The boots for football and rugby are designed to have a ‘glove-like’ fit for comfort using PUMA’s Aptolast technology which moulds the boot to the shape of the foot and helps minimise any waste of energy. In addition, the boots feature impact protection which helps protect against injury to high risk areas such as the ankles and metatarsals. The football and rugby boots are both finished with off-centre laces which give more control when kicking.
At the PUMA launch the Manchester United, Sale Sharks and Bradford Bulls players were interviewed by journalists from newspapers, magazines and TV programmes including The Daily Mirror and Soccer AM. They even indulged themselves in a spot of inter-sport training, it took, Manchester United’s defender, Nemanja a little while to get used to using his hands as well as his feet.
Mathew Tait said “I’ve been wearing my new boots, which I got from The Kit Team, for the last few games at Sale and found them extremely comfortable and great at helping me direct kicks for touch. Last week I played at centre and I think they also helped my running game. ”
The Kit Team is a new website (www.TheKitTeam.com) which will supply football and rugby players and clubs with PUMA kit, trainingwear, footwear and accessories to help them gain a competitive edge through the latest sports performance technology.
