Scottrade celebrates first South Dakota Branch Office with Grand Opening Ceremony

Event includes ribbon cutting and educational seminar for Sioux Falls community



Sioux Falls, S.D. – Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is celebrating the grand opening of its first branch office in South Dakota. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and informational seminar will be held today at Scottrade’s Sioux Falls branch office, located at 5019 S. Western Ave. in the Bridges at 57th retail center at 4:30 p.m.



Attending the ceremony will be Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson, Scottrade Branch Manager David Switzer, members of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, community leaders and Scottrade customers. Following the ribbon cutting, Switzer will present a free online investing seminar with an overview of Scottrade stock screeners, research and other features accessible with a Scottrade account.



“The grand opening will give customers the opportunity to meet the branch office associates and see how Scottrade can help customers meet their financial goals,” said Swtizer. “While many Sioux Falls customers place trades online, the convenience of a local branch office allows customers to receive personal assistance when they need it.”



As the only discount brokerage office in Sioux Falls, Scottrade will provide investors with a place to open and fund Scottrade accounts, ask questions, and learn more about the tools that can help them make better-informed investment decisions.
