Global Leader in IPTV Content Security Continues Asia-Pacific Expansion with New Hires

Singapore – Verimatrix, setting the standard in content security technologies that enhance the value of pay-TV networks, is expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific with the opening of its new regional headquarters in Singapore. The new office forms the hub of Verimatrix’s regional footprint, which is complemented with a series of additions to its Asia-Pacific sales and support team based throughout the region. Bolstered by the completion of a Series C funding, Verimatrix has commissioned its new headquarters on Upper Thomson Road in Singapore complete with a demonstration centre. The central location in Singapore better enables Verimatrix to expand its broad customer base in the region. It also enables close cooperation with the newly-formed Centre for Content Protection, of which Verimatrix is a key sponsor and member of the Advisory Committee. The number of pay-TV subscribers in Asia-Pacific is expected to grow 17 percent to 300 million this year, according to a recent report issued by Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA), which represents significant opportunity for Verimatrix.
