Gamestation launch Fat Chris advertising campaign

Gamestation, the UK based computer game and software retailer, has launched a new advertising campaign featuring Fat Chris, revealing the Gamestation’s special offers that are available during the festive season.

For the third year in a row, Fat Chris will be starring in new TV adverts for Gamestation every week throughout Christmas, detailing the credit crunch defying offers on hardware and software available instore and online during the Christmas period.

Among the offers are a range of games now being sold at half price or less. These include the newest installment of the popular Pro Evo Soccer series of games, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on the Xbox 360, also available in PS3 and PS2 formats at a reduced price.

Similarly, “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2” on the PS3 and “Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise” on the Xbox 360 are available at reduced prices, with “Viva Piñata” offering gamers a colourful and engaging gaming experience which involves capturing, protecting, training and managing more than 100 newly discovered and existing piñata species.

“Battlefield: Bad Company” for the Sony PS3 is also set to be on special offer at Gamestation this season, while “What’s Cooking? with Jamie Oliver” on the Nintendo DS is also proving popular, allowing players to work through virtual and real life cooking situations.

For those who miss the Fat Chris campaign on TV, Gamestation has set up his very own website which contains the latest adverts and play the Fat Chris “Knee Jerk” game, in which players have to get visitors to Fat Chris’ grotto of his knee as quickly as possible so he can continue gaming. Those visiting the site can also send Christmas themed e-mails and locate their nearest Gamestation store.

Gamestation’s adverts featuring Fat Chris can also be found on the company’s YouTube channel, allowing customers to embed the videos on their own website or simply watch them over again.
