ITT ranks fifth on G.I. Jobs magazine’s 2008 top 50 military-friendly employers list

MCLEAN, Va. – In recognition of its commitment to hiring military veterans, ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) was selected by G.I. Jobs magazine as one of the nation’s top 50 military-friendly employers. The company’s strong military recruiting efforts, high percentage of new military hires and proactive policies that fully support National Guard and Reservists helped ITT to be ranked fifth overall out of nearly 2,500 eligible companies and first among its competitors in the defense and aerospace industry.
