Sam’s Club Online Holiday Packages Sell In Seconds

Once-in-a-Lifetime™ Experiences and Products Featured in Catalog

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam’s Club announced today four exclusive online holiday packages sold in seconds after becoming available this week. The one-of-a-kind experiences and gifts included a speaking role on As the World Turns in New York City and a Critics’ Choice Awards Experience in Los Angeles for $13,500; a spellbinding experience to attend the Twilight World Movie Premiere in Los Angeles for $9,500; four tickets to the Kenny Chesney Dallas Concert for $9,900; and the first electric super car by Hybrid Technologies for $100,000. The car can go from 0 to 60 mph in five seconds without burning a drop of fuel.

This is the fifth year Sam’s Club has offered the Once-in-a-Lifetime holiday packages. Typically the experiential gifts and exclusive merchandise is made available with the release of the company’s holiday gift and spring catalogs. In 2006, Sam’s Club sold a $2.7 million Cessna Mustang Jet, and last year the company sold a Hybrid Technologies Electric Smart Car for $35,000.

There is still one holiday package that remains. The Elvis Presley Graceland Trip for $7,800 will become available for purchase December 8, at 10 p.m. CT on samsclub.com. More than 33,000 members and samsclub.com guests visited the package web pages since their launch nearly a month ago. The Once-in-a-Lifetime packages are available to Sam’s Club members only.
