Consolidated Graphics Adds Multiple KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses for Growing Photo Products Business

(CGX), entered the rapidly expanding photo products market in 2005 with a fleet of KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses, and with its recent purchase of additional KODAK NEXPRESS S3000 Digital Production Color Presses now operates more than 30 NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses around the world. These new devices will enhance CGX’s operations in Prague, the Czech Republic and the United States, and represent the company’s ongoing commitment to KODAK Solutions.

Used in CGX’s photo applications, the KODAK NEXPRESS S3000 Digital Production Color Presses are capable of producing 3,000 A3 sheets per hour, or 100 A4 pages per minute, for the full range of supported substrate types (coated, uncoated, synthetics, standard offset paper, textured stocks, selected packaging board, labels and films) and weights (60 gsm-350 gsm). Maximum sheet capacity totals 11,000 with monthly print volumes of up to 2.2 million pages.
