Intelliden Joins RSA Secured® Partner Program to Provide Customers with Additional Layer of Security for R-Series® Platform

This new technology partnership is designed to help bolster network data security for joint customers by preventing unauthorized access to critical network configuration data.

As part of its existing security management approach, Intelliden enables customers to enforce role-based access to control who can access which parts of the network and perform specific configuration changes on those devices. The RSA SecurID system is as simple to use as entering a password, but significantly more secure. Used in conjunction with RSA® Authentication Manager software, an RSA SecurID hardware or software authenticator functions like an ATM card for a company network, requiring users to identify themselves with two unique factors — something they know (a password or PIN), and something they have (e.g. an RSA SecurID token) — before they are granted access to secure business information.
