Audio Visual Leader Expands Staff Certification With ISF

As part of their on-going program of education and professional certification for staff members, McCann Systems, a leading audio visual design and integration firm, announces the recent certification of a number of their fabrication, service and installation specialists.

Advanced ISF Video Imaging Techniques
McCann specialists recently earned certification from the Imaging Science Foundation, (ISF®). The Imaging Science Foundation is in the Display Standards industry, and is dedicated to improving the quality of electronic imaging. In the industry, ISF’s role is to teach the parameters of what makes good video. Training includes hands-on experience in video calibration and stresses exceptional picture quality and superior client service.

Four McCann specialists recently completed advanced seminar training and earned certification from the Imaging Science Foundation in the calibration of video imaging systems and projector setup. These specialists include Michael Finnerty, Fabrication Manager, Lead Field Technicians, Tom Druckenmiller and Dave Daily and Lead Service Technician Dan Rybak. Course components delved into the techniques for obtaining maximum clarity and resolution for both LCD and plasmas projectors. Through ISF training and certification, McCann specialists successfully demonstrated a full comprehension of a “systems approach” to electronic imaging.
