Small Businesses Likely To Face Deep Recession During Obama’s First Year

WEBWIRE

La Jolla, California, USA (November 05, 2008) - Coming on the heels of unprecedented US Government bailouts of financial markets and slower prospects for business growth, small businesses are having to belt-tighten like never before. According to Stuart Burkow, co-author of Guerrilla Profits and President, Guerrilla Profits International, “The recession is most likely going to get worse during Obama’s first year as President. ”

He goes on to say that, “I’m not going to sugar coat this... it’s not a pretty picture. Most businesses will be adversely impacted - and some aren’t going to make it. ” While it will be difficult for some businesses, Mr. Burkow claims that others will be able to take advantage of opportunities that wouldn’t exist otherwise. He also insists that businesses can thrive and prosper during difficult times using the strategies discussed in his new book, Guerrilla Profits (co-authored with Jay Conrad Levinson, the famed “father” of Guerrilla Marketing).

“My objective is to help businesses succeed regardless of the current economy - and to make it through will a full head of steam to the good times that await on the other side of this downturn. Now, more than ever, guerrilla business tactics are needed - and they can be even more effective and powerful during a recession, ” Mr. Burkow explains.

As part of an effort to help business people get ahead in tough times, Guerrilla Profits International just released a new report to the public, The Small Business Recession Survival Guide. It is available at no charge, as a downloadable PDF from: http://www.freerecessionguide.com
