Dallas turned out to be the perfect substitute for our second stop on the “World Wind West” tour. Houston had been the event site prior to hurricane “Ike.” However, if “Ike” thought it could put a damper on the Houstonians planning to attend, it had not considered P1D Associates Margo Sims or Jim and Joanna Heller. They commissioned a bus, providing a free shuttle from Houston to Dallas and told “Ike to take a hike.” Margo, who believes that “When you make fear disappear, you can lose everything and still gain more than you ever dreamed,” was the victim of three hurricanes and suffered the loss of her mother.
