BenQ Honored by Three World-Class Good Design Awards

TAIPEI, TAIWAN.– BenQ announced today that three of the company’s digital lifestyle products have been honored with the world-renowned Good Design Award: the M2200W 16:9 LCD monitor (renamed the M2410HDW), V37 37“ LCD TV, and Joybook P53 were chosen from among 3,023 entries. The Good Design evaluation and commendation system, operated by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization, bestows upon its winners a globally-respected reputation for innovation in design that improves the quality of life while simultaneously advancing society as a whole. This year’s design focus was on ”images of life in the near future and designs that lead the way to next generation lifestyles"

Styled for simplicity in lifestyle and design, the multimedia M2200W (renamed the M2410HDW) 16:9 LCD monitor meticulously balances high art and high functionality. Based on a smart box-frame design to occupy less space, the display calls attention to its Nature-inspired aesthetics – smooth, clean lines and a high-gloss surface symbolic of free-flowing water. True distinction in design beyond superficial looks is found in the display’s fusion of functionality and form, which does not compromise one over the other. In fact, accenting its sleek uncluttered beauty is a myriad of features that enhance use: a retractable handle, wireless PC connection, and integrated memory card reader and speakers.

A stunning sculpture for the home, the V37 LCD TV is a visual masterpiece in all respects.
