Carly Takes The Plunge For Charity

A 24-year-old Hyde woman has proven she has a head for heights after completing a 200ft bungee jump in aid of Pendlebury Children’s Hospital.

Carly Rowson completed the daredevil stunt in a field in Stockport, raising over £300 for charity.

Carly, a Collections Representative for Manchester-based Cygnet Financial Services, finance company to ACF Car Finance, has already completed a series of death-defying stunts, including a sky dive for Marie Curie Cancer Care and an abseil for RNIB.

She signed up for the jump after being approached by a charity worker from the Dr Joe Jaffe Hospital Support Charity, which raises money to pay for the provision of equipment and medical aids not normally provided by an area’s health authority.

All money raised from the charity jump will now go towards the provision of equipment and medical aids at Pendlebury Children’s Hospital.

Carly commented: “I was really excited to take part in the bungee jump. I have always been quite an adventurous person and get a real adrenalin rush from taking part in daredevil stunts.”

“I’m so pleased the jump was a success and I would like to thank ACF and Cygnet who donated £100 combined, along with my friends and colleagues who also kindly contributed to the cause.”
