Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches data center ‘Efficiency Challenge’

Campaign guarantees customers can reduce the time it takes to manage their IT infrastructure by 20 percent – failing this they will receive Euros 10,000 worth of products or services

Munich, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is taking its ‘Dynamic Data Center Challenge’ to the next level. The ‘Efficiency Challenge’, launching across Europe today, highlights to enterprises how they can significantly reduce time spent managing their IT infrastructure.

The initiative invites companies to participate in a ‘Discovery Workshop’, free of charge. Here, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will identify the greatest pain points in their IT infrastructure. Based on the results of the workshop, Fujitsu Siemens Computers will then provide a ‘Value Study’ showing the customer how they can remove these pain points, reducing the time it takes to manage their IT infrastructure by at least 20 percent. In the event that Fujitsu Siemens Computers is unable to demonstrate a time saving of at least 20 percent, participants will receive Euros 10,000 worth of products or services.

The Efficiency Challenge moves Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ ‘Customer Challenge’ programs to the next level, now incorporating not only infrastructure, but also services management, guarantees.

“Over the past few years our portfolio has developed from a pure product offering to a unique combination that fully integrates products, solutions and services. This has enabled us to reach a wider market and increased benefits for our customers – as reflected in our Efficiency Challenge,” says Richard Schlauri, Executive Vice-President Infrastructure Services at Fujtisu Siemens Computers. “By incorporating services management to our analysis of customer data centers, we can extend the cost savings realised from our previous Dynamic Data Center Challenge to include time savings. And of course, time savings translate into significant cost savings.”
