Online investment firm expands to provide local support and service to New England



Plymouth, Mass. – Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is opening a new branch office in Plymouth, Mass. The branch, located at 55 Long Pond Road in the Shops at Long Pond, opens on Monday, Oct. 20 and will be managed by Walter Belcher.



Scottrade’s Plymouth branch will provide New Englanders with a local resource for financial education and customer support. At the branch, customers can learn more about online trading as well as tools and stock research to help them invest.



“Plymouth has grown significantly in the past few years and the new branch will provide our customers with a convenient local office,” Belcher said. “In addition to serving Plymouth, the branch will serve our customers in the South Shore as well as the Cape and Island.”



Scottrade is an online investment firm that provides the tools and research for individuals to make their own investment decisions. Scottrade does not provide investment advice, but stock brokers are available at branch offices to answer account related questions, provide customer service and give tutorials on Scottrade’s online trading services.
