SkyMiles members now may book worldwide Award Travel using Delta’s three-tiered Award structure, including last-seat availability

ATLANTA – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) SkyMiles® members now have greater flexibility and more options when redeeming miles for Award Travel to destinations worldwide. Delta has launched a new three-tiered Award structure that allows customers to combine dates, as well as Economy, First and BusinessElite cabin seating at various mileage levels to create their ideal worldwide itineraries. SkyMiles members also are able, once again, to use miles to book the last seat on a flight.

“Our new three-tiered Award structure offers SkyMiles members what they’ve been asking for – increased flexibility in Award Travel redemption,” said Jeff Robertson, Delta’s vice president of Loyalty Programs. “Our members now have more Award Travel options than ever before to use their miles when they want, where they want and how they want.”

For booking a round-trip flight, tiers now start at 25,000, 40,000 and 60,000 miles rather than 25,000 and 50,000 miles. Customers may search for and book Award Travel using the new structure online at delta.com/awardtravel.
