SWISS to raise fares slightly with start of winter schedules

SWISS will be slightly increasing its fares with the cutover to the 2008/09 winter schedules at the end of October. Fares will rise by an average of three per cent.

The modest fare increase will enable SWISS to continue to offer a wide range of air services from a sound business foundation. SWISS also intends to keep to the further enhancements to its products and services that have already been planned. To do so, SWISS will be raising its fares by an average of three per cent. Certain fares – such as special offers – will not be affected by these increases.

The new fares will apply to all tickets for travel from Switzerland issued from October 27 onwards. They will not apply to any tickets issued before this date.
