Employee surveys and benefits put SAS high on list

CARY, NC – SAS, the leader in business intelligence and analytics, was named to the list of Best Places to Work in the Triangle by Triangle Business Journal (TBJ).

TBJ evaluated companies based on employee survey results gathered in July from 173 Triangle companies. Additional company information came from company profile surveys. This year, TBJ honored 45 companies across three size categories – Small (50 workers or fewer), Mid-Size (51-150 workers) and Large (151 workers or more).

“It’s always gratifying to see our efforts recognized,” said Jennifer Mann, Vice President of Human Resources for SAS. “SAS frequently makes ‘best places to work’ lists in countries all over the world, but it’s especially nice to be honored in our hometown. The fact that this award is based on a survey of our employees makes the recognition even more valuable.”

The award announcement referred to SAS’ low turnover rate and innovative, comprehensive benefits package. Last year, SAS averaged 4 percent turnover in an industry that averaged more than 10 percent.
