102-5 The Fox helps Join the Journey raise over $115,000.00 for Breast Cancer

Clear Channel radio’s 102-5 The Fox recently partnered to aid the Join the Journey 10 mile walk, featuring dozens of cancer survivors and 100’s of supporters. The event was founded in 2005 in Rochester by two cancer survivors and their friend, as a way to fund early detection and prevention, and to provide each newly diagnosed cancer patient in the Rochester area with materials on what to expect from their cancer treatment.

Jake and Tracy from the 102-5 The Fox morning show hosted the kick off of the walk which included energetic music, warm up calisthenics and speeches. They also hosted the halfway point rest stop with music and fun. This year an all time record was set for both walkers, almost 1000, and donations of $115,000.00!
