SkyMiles® members earn double bonus miles on select international Delta, Air France flights

ATLANTA – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is offering SkyMiles members the opportunity to earn double bonus miles on select Delta and Air France flights between the U.S. and Europe. Customers who fly between Los Angeles or New York City and London; New York City and Lyon, France; and Salt Lake City and Paris are eligible to earn double miles.
SkyMiles members must register online at delta.com/worldbonus and fly on or before Dec. 15, 2008, to take advantage of this promotion. Customers can earn an additional 1,000 bonus miles by booking at delta.com. Miles earned through this promotion are in addition to miles earned through Delta’s existing class-of-service and elite bonuses.

Registered SkyMiles members may earn double bonus miles when traveling between the following nonstop routes:

United States/ Europe
Los Angeles (LAX)/ London/Heathrow (LHR)
New York (JFK)/ London/Heathrow (LHR)
New York (JFK)/ Lyon, France (LYS)
Salt Lake City (SLC)/ Paris/De Gaulle (CDG)

This promotion is made possible by Delta’s joint venture agreement with Air France. The agreement, signed in October 2007, is expected to increase revenues, competition and customer travel choices on key routes across the Atlantic.
