Telefonica and RIM Launch the BlackBerry Bold Smartphone in Spain

Madrid, Spain and Waterloo, ON, Canada - Telefonica and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) have announced today the launch of the BlackBerry® Bold™ smartphone in Spain.

The new top of the line BlackBerry® smartphone is crafted from premium materials and comes in a luxurious black exterior with satin chrome finished frame and leatherette back plate. It includes integrated GPS that supports a wide range of location-based applications and services, including BlackBerry® Maps, as well as enterprise-grade Wi-Fi®. It is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world and is an ideal choice for business professionals and power users.
