• Providing its more than 20,000 partners an increased opportunity to better build, market, and sell Oracle-based solutions, Oracle is offering a wide range of collaborative, partner specific activities for Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN) members at Oracle OpenWorld 2008 in San Francisco.

• Kicking off with the Oracle PartnerNetwork Forum to be held on Sunday, September 21, 2008, Oracle OpenWorld 2008 will feature a series of Partner Pavilions and partner-only sessions that will enable partners to share knowledge, showcase specialized solutions, increase customer and prospect visibility, and drive business growth.

• The Oracle PartnerNetwork Forum will also host the fifth annual North America Titan Awards Ceremony, recognizing the innovative solutions and business achievements of North America partners within OPN.

The Oracle PartnerNetwork Forum will explore growth strategies; including profiting from Oracle’s acquisitions, penetrating new markets, and triangulation, as well as accelerating business through advanced partner enablement and OPN program enhancements.
The event, to be held at the Hilton San Francisco in Union Square, is scheduled to include vision and strategy presentations from Oracle senior executives and opportunities to network with Oracle representatives and other partners.
Partners will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights, contacts and resources in a series of specialized breakout sessions.
Titan Awards Ceremony and Oracle PartnerNetwork Reception
The North America Alliances and Channels Titan Awards recognize the innovative solutions and business achievements of partners within the Oracle PartnerNetwork. This year’s ceremony will also acknowledge partner excellence from around the world. The ceremony will be held at the Hilton San Francisco on Sunday, September 21 at 7:10 p.m.
The Oracle PartnerNetwork Reception will immediately follow the Titan Awards ceremony, providing an opportunity to network with Oracle representatives and partners from around the world.
Partner Pavilions at Oracle OpenWorld
Once again, Oracle OpenWorld will feature Partner Pavilions to enable OPN members to showcase their solutions and increase visibility with customers, prospects and other Oracle partners. This year’s Pavilions include:The Oracle PartnerNetwork Reception will immediately follow the Titan Awards ceremony, providing an opportunity to network with Oracle representatives and partners from around the world.
Oracle Accelerate Pavilion: Oracle and its Oracle Accelerate Solution Partners will help customers and prospects discover comprehensive, easy-to-own, industry-focused solutions at an affordable cost.
Security, Risk Management, and Compliance Pavilion: The pavilion will feature Oracle and partner solutions that meet customer’s growing demand for solutions that enable enterprise security and sustainable regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
Solutions Pavilion: This pavilion will feature a number of partner demo stations featuring solutions built around Oracle Database, Oracle Applications including Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle VM, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Business Intelligence
Oracle’s JD Edwards Pavilion: Products directly related to Oracle’s JD Edwards solutions will be on display. This year, Oracle OpenWorld’s JD Edwards track is part of the Oracle OpenWorld Applications stream and offers more than 130 sessions delivered by JD Edwards’ product experts, customers and partners.
Mobility Pavilion: Oracle partners specializing in mobile solutions including software for mobile infrastructure, PDA/smartphones, GPS, hands-free, audio/video devices, mobile broadband cards, Ultra-Mobile PC devices, and special integratned showcase of partners with their latest products featuring embedded Oracle technologies will take part in the newly created Mobility Pavilion.
Oracle PartnerNetwork Lounge
The Oracle PartnerNetwork Lounge is open throughout the week and is located in Moscone South, Room 100. The lounge will include meeting spaces and demo kiosks, as well as opportunities to network with Oracle and other partners. In addition a “Mix It Up” cocktail mixer will be hosted on September 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
